I only briefly visited Paris many years ago and definitely need to spend real time there!

Ah yes I absolutely love Paris - have been many times but would love to spend a longer time there.

Yes! So much to explore.

I lived there in 2003-4 so I had a little pocket map to get around. I was frequently purposefully lost. This is the best way. And then I would just dwell in a few favorite spaces like Rue de Seine, Haut Marais, and Pere Lachaise. Enjoy!

Pere Lachaise is actually featuring in a new post on Monday! Such a fascinating place.

Great! Love that place. i have a couple things to say about it but will wait for your post! When I lived there, I spent most weekends at my friend’s flat overlooking it.

I actually might email you about this Kate if that sounds good!

I was excited when I saw your names both on this post, Kate and Tom. And it did not disappoint. What a terrific list of questions. And wonderful answers. Kate, you and I value similar things in a travel partner. Going off the beaten path and spending time on your own are absolute musts. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful read.
