I lived there in 2003-4 so I had a little pocket map to get around. I was frequently purposefully lost. This is the best way. And then I would just dwell in a few favorite spaces like Rue de Seine, Haut Marais, and Pere Lachaise. Enjoy!
Great! Love that place. i have a couple things to say about it but will wait for your post! When I lived there, I spent most weekends at my friend’s flat overlooking it.
I was excited when I saw your names both on this post, Kate and Tom. And it did not disappoint. What a terrific list of questions. And wonderful answers. Kate, you and I value similar things in a travel partner. Going off the beaten path and spending time on your own are absolute musts. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful read.
Paris waits for you. Fun interview! Looking forward to seeing that hat! ;)
Glad you enjoyed it Alexander!
I’ll bring it to Paris! One can wear anything in Paris is one is bien dans son peau 😉
Deal!
So good to see Kate here, thank you for this fun interview, Tom!
Thanks so much Jo! Glad you enjoyed.
Thanks for reading, Jo!
I only briefly visited Paris many years ago and definitely need to spend real time there!
Ah yes I absolutely love Paris - have been many times but would love to spend a longer time there.
Yes! So much to explore.

I actually might email you about this Kate if that sounds good!
Go for it!
Would gladly spend a year in a nearby chalet in the Alps with you Kate! I've got my dirndl all picked out... 😘🤣💜
Ha! I imagine it’s exquisite. You’re definitely welcome to tag along. 🤓🤗💛💛
